Curtis
Santiago was Chair of the Coordinating Committee of the Special Procedures of the UN Human Rights Council and Member of the UN Committee on Enforced Disappearances. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Voluntary Fund for Technical Cooperation in the Field of Human Rights (VFTC). He also is a Law Professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana and Partner at the international law firm Curtis.

Daughtry
Fordham University School of Law
Emily is an Adjunct Professor Of Law at the Fordham University School of Law. She previously was the Senior Program Officer of the Catalyst Foundation for Universal Education, where she oversaw projects in over ten countries. She also worked for eleven years in the US federal government, including as Deputy Chief Appellate Attorney and Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York, and as an Attorney-Adviser at the US State Department.

Kilian is a German businessman and former UNHCR official who worked as director of the Zaatari refugee camp (Jordan), the second largest in the world. He has more than 25 years of experience as a humanitarian and migration expert in countries as diverse as Somalia, Kosovo, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. He is the founder of the social enterprise group “Innovation and Planning Agency” – in Austria and Tunisia (IPA Switxboard).

Nima is CEO and co-founder of minu, the market leader in employee financial wellness. He has extensive entrepreneurial experience creating and growing technology companies in Latin America. He built his first company for Latin American consumers with operations in six countries in the region. In Mexico, he was the Head of Retail Banking & Innovation at Banco Sabadell. He was born in Iran, grew up in Spain, and has a Master’s in Engineering from Imperial College and an MBA from Harvard.

Fondo Semillas
Tania is the co-Executive Director of Fondo Semillas, a women’s fund that focuses on improving lives of women, girls, trans* and intersex people in Mexico. Prior to this position, she has been working as Head of Programs and Head of Analysis and Institutional Strengthening at the same organization. She also has been a Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst at Freedom House Mexico and a consultant in Research, Health and Demography (INSAD). Currently, she is part of the Edge Funders Network Board.
