International Hall at Bosques International School

April 4th, 2024 - Zoom

Members of our team, accompanied by some of the students from our Higher Education for Refugees Program, participated in an International Hall organized by the Bosques International School in the city of Aguascalientes.

The event brought students from preschool to high school closer to various countries of the world through their greatest cultural exponents, such as their gastronomy, music, and famous characters.

The members of our refugee student network were able to share some of the representative dishes of their countries, as well as their musical talent. Likewise, the newly-arrived South Sudanese students of the Habesha Project: Complementary Pathways program introduced themselves to the school’s community and shared their experiences and expectations as newcomers to Mexico.

The event was a success showing the benefits of intercultural dialogue and diversity, as well as raising funds for our organization.

DIME extends its gratitude to the directors, teachers, parents, and students of Bosques International School, who made this important awareness-raising activity possible.
