Habesha Media is the in-house creative agency of DIME and, as such, is one of the four programs that constitute our efforts to create educational opportunities for refugee youth, as well as safe, inclusive, and informed host societies.
Since the beginning of DIME, the team that makes up Habesha Media has developed creative communication materials aimed at informing Mexican society about the challenges of forced displacement and other migratory movements. Above all, we aim at conveying a very important fact: refugees and migrants are not threats or passive victims but rather people who deserve equal opportunities.
Since then, we have extended our creative services to national and international organizations and educational institutions that share our values and the common goal of building a society that is sensitive to forced displacement and can appropriately respond to it.
Below is a list of the most recent projects we have completed for internationally-renowned organizations working in the fields of education and displacement:
Connected Learning in Crisis Consortium (CLCC) – Web Design
Refugee-Led Research Hub (RLRH) at Oxford University – Web Design
Opening Universities for Refugees (OUR) – Web Design
Likewise, we have developed various graphic design materials for our platforms, as well as for our network of DIME Student Committees in our 8 allied universities, the Council for DIME Refugee Students (CERDIME), our Border Legal Clinic in Tijuana, Baja California, and the Higher Education Program for Refugees.
Our Work on Social Media
As shown, we work internally and externally to achieve our goals and those of our clients, accelerating in this way our shared social impact.
