DIME is a neutral Mexican humanitarian organization that promotes intercultural dialogue so that everyone is free to reach their full potential and contribute to an equitable, diverse, and harmonious future. We tackle the challenges of forced migration with multi-sectoral programs that mobilize university communities. To achieve our goals, we forge partnerships with higher education institutions, international organizations, government agencies, civil society and, the private sector.

ARRIVAL DELAYED FOR

DIME'S NEW STUDENT

Due to complications in their first country of refuge, Kenya, the arrival of four South-Sudanese students has been postponed until further notice.

HABESHA AMERICAS/

IIE ODYSSEY SCHOLARSHIP

DIME and the International Institute of Education (IIE) launched the Habesha Américas/IIE Odyssey call for applications aimed at people with refugee status in Mexico in order to continue their higher education studies at one of our partner universities.

In early January, we started our sixth internship period at DIME. This is a program that offers professional experience to international students and young professionals from different disciplines in Mexico and across the world.

FORUM 2023

The Global Refugee Forum seeks to find and share comprehensive solutions for the situation of the world’s refugee population. For the second time, DIME has worked to be a valuable actor during the Forum.

A LASTING ACCOMPLISHMENT

Effective May 15th, 2024, DIME becomes part of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) under the new name USCRI México, serving also as USCRI’s Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean.
